If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can return your item(s) within 30 days of dispatching your order, if you meet the below return conditions;

1. Item(s) were dispatched within the last 30 days and proof of purchase is provided.

2. Item(s) must be unworn, unwashed, or otherwise undamaged with original tags attached.

3.Item(s) are in original packaging and condition.

We recommend and encourage customers to try products on carpet to ensure that dirt is not collected on the sole.

Please allow time for your return to reach our fulfillment center. This may vary depending on your location. 

Subtype bears no responsibility for items damaged or lost in transit back to the fulfillment center. Be sure to package your item(s) correctly and obtain a tracking number when sending items back.

Online purchases are unable to be exchanged for other products.

Online Purchases

Subtype Online returns must be received at our warehouse within 30 days from the date of dispatch for a full refund only. Online purchases can only be exchanged in our Melbourne CBD store. Should you wish to make an online return, please fill out the form below and a member of our team will be in touch.

*Different Terms and Conditions apply for orders made through Afterpay and PayPal;

PayPal transactions will take 5-7 business days to process your refund, should you be approved.

In-store purchases cannot be returned to the online store.

Unfortunately, we will not be processing exchanges at our online warehouse. Any returns for an exchange will be refunded.

Please note, we will only cover the cost of return postage if we have shipped you the wrong items or if any items are faulty. We will not cover the cost of return orders due to change of mind.

In-Store Purchases

For purchases made in-store, you have 30 days from the date on the receipt to return your purchase for an exchange or refund.

In-store purchases cannot be returned to the online store.

Please note: Gift Cards are not refundable.

For all returns and/or exchanges In-store:

- You can visit the Subtype store for a refund/exchange

- Products must be unworn, in the condition that you received them and in the original box and/or packaging which must be unmarked and also in its original condition

- Please note that PayPal refunds are not available in store
